This workshop is a basic introduction to the information that can be found on the St Johns River State College Library portal page. Once you view the video, you will have a basic understanding of how to access information, contact a librarian, and where to go to get help if you need it.
After viewing this workshop, you should have a working understanding of how to access the database, what a database is, and how it can help you when researching valid information.
This video provide two ways to access and find electronic videos and electronic books for use in academic research.
As a St Johns River State College student, you have access to all of the catalogs of the 28 state colleges of Florida through LINCCWeb, the current Library catalog. The following video explains simply how to request an item from another SJRState campus library and from another college.
After you watch the video tutorial you should have a basic knowledge of where the catalog is, and how to search for materials.
