African American History Month

February is National African American History Month and is defined by the Law Library of Congress as a month that "celebrates the contributions that African Americans have made to American history in their struggles for freedom and equality and deepens our understanding of our Nation's history.For legislation, Presidential Proclamations, and Executive Orders pertaining to this commemoration, visit the Law Library of Congress' African American History Month page.
