HOW TO BOOK A SERVICE AT YOUR CAMPUS LIBRARY

What We're Doing to Keep You and Our Staff Safe

  • Access to the Library and Academic Support Center (ASC) is granted by appointment only and only for select services.
    • Appointments may be booked online by current SJR State students & employees only.
    • Appointments are for individuals only (no groups).
  • The Library and ASC are operating at a reduced capacity and have social distancing measures in place.
  • Masks must be worn by all persons while on campus and in all communal areas including the Library & the ASC. Service may be denied to persons not wearing a mask.
  • All persons must complete the College's Health Assessment before coming to campus. Please have your green checkmark ready to show.
  • All Library material must be returned at a drop box. Do not bring returns to the Library.
  • Returned Library material is isolated for 96 hours before being handled by staff and reshelved.
    • There will be a delay of at least 4 days from the time you place material in the drop-box to the time that material is then handled by staff, checked-in, and removed from your account.
    • The Library does not charge daily overdue fines and your access to services will not be impacted due to recently overdue items. (If you have material that was 6 weeks overdue before March 13, 2020, that obligation is already on your record. Contact your campus Library for details.)
  • Computers and high-touch surfaces are routinely disinfected.
